Yesterday morning, the municipal government and the Beijing Baidu Netcom Science Technology Co., Ltd signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Based on their respective advantages, the two sides will form the basis of strategic consensus on the big data industry development and construction of the “wisdom of Datong” and so on. At the same time, they will make full cooperation in “Internet plus Datong” “big data plus Datong” “travel service”“cloud computing” and “innovation”.

  Zhang Jifu, the secretary of municipal Party committee, and Ma Yanping, Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party committee and mayor of Datong attended the signing ceremony. Vice mayor Yang Qinrong presided over the ceremony and signed on behalf of our city.

According to the characteristics and advantages of our city, the two sides will take “Internet plus Datong” industry as the core, integrating and making full use of the advantages of the two sides as well as cooperating in the application of data analysis, the wisdom of the city, traffic management, administrative convenience and other areas. The two sides are based on the “big data plus Datong” industrial development to achieve the development of Baidu related product technology in our city and achieve the strategic goal of “wisdom of Datong”. In the future, the Baidu Inc will constantly explore new models with Datong city in the three aspects of “Internet plus” public services, smart city construction, strategic business cooperation and investment. Among them, in the “Internet plus” public services, Datong city actively promotes public open data resources to support the Baidu Inc to play platform core technology and to participate in service resource integration of Datong government. Through the Baidu search, Baidu maps, Baidu knows, we can build a highly efficient, accurate and personalized service entrance, provide policy advisory, booking service, administrative approval, payment convenience, location based service life (LBS) and other types of “Internet plus Datong” and mobile service and realize the deep integration of the Internet and the government public service system. With the demand of upgrading the tourism industry transformation of our city, the Baidu Inc plans “Internet plus tourism”, using Baidu maps, Baidu travel, Baidu Nuomi and other Internet platforms and massive user resources, travel groups, etc. to provide a unified service, operation and communication for the development of tourism industry in our city.

  Zhao Cheng said, at the signing ceremony, that the municipal Party committee and municipal government of Datong paid high attention to the development of new industries, especially for development of the cultural tourism industry. Datong city has contacted the Baidu Inc several times, expressing the strong desire to create a smart city and to promote the development of economy and society with the Internet giant’s technological advantage and resource advantage. Baidu Inc will give full play to the advantages of technology, personnel and other advantages to promote the implementation in Datong, providing the whole industry chain Internet services for Datong and assisting the social development of local economy.

  Yang Qinrong said that Datong city would provide convenient service in policy support, infrastructure, environmental improvement and so on to achieve mutual benefit and common development.
