Drinking plenty of water is good for your lung

Eating white food moistens lungs

White tree fungus(or Tremella, the white tree ear): this type of fungus has the reputation of "fungus in the crown". According to Chinese medicine, tremella is characterized by being warm and humid, being mild and sweet,it can help to supplement the spleen and stimulate the appetite,to nourish the Yin and dampen the lung and to improve the Qi and clear the intestine. At this time, we can eat white fungus soup by simmering it with some lotus seeds, medlars and other materials together.

Lily:Modern researches have found that lily contains biotin,colchicine and other alkaloids, which have some effects on calming the mood of the people and are good for the cure of neurasthenia, insomnia, trance, etc.. Lily can nourish the Yin and moisten the lung, and is effective to cure the dry cough caused by the deficiency of Yin.

Snow pears: pears are of coolness, slightly cold, they have the effect of moistening the lung and clearing the dryness, curing cough and resolving phlegm,and nourishing blood and developing flesh. In autumn, we often suffer frome respiratory diseases,so it is particularly suitable for eating pears at this time. We can eat not only raw pears, but also steamed pears,we can also enjoy soup cooked with pears.

Honey: honey is known as "the perfect nutritional food in the nature", honey contains a variety of inorganic salts, organic acids and trace elements,and it has the effect of nourishing, moistening and detoxification. Doing excercise improves the function of lungs

Autumn is the best time to exercise, you can choose some suitable sports such as tai chi, jogging, climbing, breathing exercises, brisk walking and so on. Exercise can enhance lung capacity, improve lung function of the patients with chronic respiratory disease, thereby enhancing their physical fitness. In exercise, we can also breath deeply, such as abdominal breathing, to obtain the effect of clearing the lungs.
