This year, The City of Datong takes the six engineering as an important work to promote the agricultural development fully, comprehensively, highly-quality and efficiently. Combined with the actual development of agricultural machinery in our city, we vigorously implemented the six projects to accelerate the transformation of agricultural development mode, enhance the agricultural public service capacity and promote the city's comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of agricultural mechanization.

　　In leading the demonstration project, The City of Datong invested 2 million 950 thousand yuan involving three comprehensive agricultural mechanization demonstration counties (Datong county, Zuoyun county, southern district), eleven townships and twenty demonstration demonstration villages. In particular, the southern district got additional 260 thousand yuan for satellite positioning, hangar roof, maintenance network and the introduction of new agricultural machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth progress of the work of agricultural mechanization demonstration. In the construction of agricultural infrastructure, the newly built and planned tractor road were sixteen km and the new development of agricultural machinery maintenance outlets were two. In the cultivation project of agricultural management, new development of agricultural cooperatives were eleven, major agricultural machinery twenty-six and cultivation of agricultural demonstration cooperatives, field, household twelve. In the mechanization of ecological protective engineering, new conservation tillage implementation area was 20 thousand acres and no tillage and minimum tillage was 20 thousand acres. We implemented the agricultural subsoiling area of 61 thousand and 200 acres and invested subsoiling machinery 102 sets. We  implemented the forage corn mechanization planting 160 thousand acres and complete mechanization of Caragana cutting area of 18 thousand acres. In the agricultural machinery industry transformation and upgrading projects, we carried out a special investigation, forming the “Datong Agricultural Industry Development Research Report”. In machinery and agricultural products processing engineering, we actively declared the four upgrading projects of oil mill and gristmill and six agricultural products processing demonstration projects. By the end of May, we increase 160 agricultural and sideline products machinery, which reached 53 percent of the early target. We completed 270 thousand tons of grain and oil processing and 50 thousand tons of grass processing. The training of new equipment and technical personnel 150 people reached 53 percent of the early target. Drying project construction achieved good results, especially in the southern district and Datong county, with dried 200 tons of corn and 20 tons of flowers.
