The private enterprise in our city has grown in strength and has become an important force to promote economic development.

　　According to Datong investigation team of State Statistical Bureau, by the end of 2015, the number of non-public ownership (private)  enterprises are nearly 13869, employees more than 210 thousand, total assets 186 billion 310 million yuan. In addition, it has increased to 38 billion 680 million yuan and turned over 3 billion 770 million yuan of taxes paid.

　　Industrial clusters have come into being. Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry of the development zone, commerce circulation including cultural tourism of urban areas, mining areas, the southern district, activated carbon and refractory of Zuoyun county, nonferrous metal of Linqiu county, agricultural and sideline food processing of the county of Datong, Yanggao, Tianzhen and Guangling, stone processing of Hunyuan county are all in a relatively region, being an important support for the development of the local, which are making more and more contributions to society. In addition to the contributions of economy and tax, the most important is to the people’s livelihood and employment. More than 80 percent of the city’s new labor and more than 90 percent of laid-off workers reemployment are mostly in private enterprises, especially in small and micro enterprises employment. Enterprises above designated size are increasing rapidly. The city’s annual operating income of more than billion yuan has reached 48 and more than 50 million yuan over 150. At the end of last year, the city’s total assets of private enterprises has reached 186 billion 310 million yuan.
